King George’s Playing Fields Pavilion

Work on the £7m new King George’s Playing Fields scheme in Brentwood that will include a new pavilion, splash pad, café, changing facilities and sensory room is underway with the adventure play area and splash pad set to be completed by late summer.

The new pavilion will offer the ability for flexible space depending on the sports and use required and special attention has been taken to ensure changing facilities and a sensory room are included. The scheme is being undertaken by Alliance Leisure as the council’s leisure development partner with contractor ISG to deliver the new pavilion building, soft play centre and TAGactive arena this year.
