A product sampling facility has being constructed within an existing of-site warehouse comprising of a sampling area complete with a downflow booth and isolator, a change room and a series of personnel and material airlock transfer rooms.
Single door access is provided for personnel and roller shutter doors for materials transfer. All the rooms are designed to be Grade D and differential pressures are maintained between all the rooms. The sampling facility room differential pressures are designed on the closed door principle whereby air is supplied to each room via ceiling mounted HEPA terminals and extracted at low level via wall mounted grilles.
The process of loading and distributing the products for testing within the facility is carried out by a fully automatic conveyor system which is operated via a master and slave HMI where the operator keys in the type of product and location (e.g. downflow booth, isolator, foil wrapper etc.).
Status of the downflow booth, isolator, coneyors and HVAC plant can all be viewed via the HMI.
